Caring for your shoes begins with a use of shoe trees. They straighten the uppers and the sole while your shoes dry slowly. Also, using shoe trees helps to clean and care uppers well and evenly.  

A well formed pair of shoe trees will also back give shape and support for the heel and the whole shoe. Whereas using shoe trees will not quicken up the drying, they ensure your pair is getting back to orderly shape after they have taken a good rest of a day or two.
